WHY ARE WE COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Your personal data is any data that identifies you. The General Data Protection Regulation obliges us to tell you why we are processing your personal data. Where you have a contract with Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o., we will collect personal data from you as a result of that contract.
Where we have done business with you before, or where we believe we will do business with you, we will hold your personal data as part of our customer list on the basis of legitimate interests that you would expect us to hold the data in this way and that our interests are aligned.
If you receive a payment or something else of value from Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o., then we will keep your personal data if we are subject to reporting requirements under transparency initiatives in the EU relating to healthcare professionals only.
We might also collect your personal data from a third party. The third party should have complied with data protection laws. Where you feel it has not, please contact us.
Where you have participated in customer research/competitions or surveys, we will have obtained your consent to hold and process your personal data.
As a pharmaceutical company, we will hold personal data relating to your health, where you report your personal experience with our product, as we are subject to pharmacovigilance (drug safety) legislation and to maintain the safety profile of products across the EU. All data will be kept confidential and protected. We may contact you (the person reporting the experience) to follow-up on safety information for the purpose of drug safety surveillance.
If you are a healthcare professional, please note that with regards to adverse event reporting, local legislation should be followed. If you report directly to us, all information including your personal data will be processed in appropriate extent described in the paragraph above.
If you apply for a job with us, we will retain your details on file for up to 5 years, in case another similar position comes up. This is due to the fact that Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. strives to engage the best talent.
TRANSFERS OUTSIDE EWOPHARMA AG AND/OR EWOPHARMA INTERNATIONAL, S.R.O.
There are several instances where Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. will be required to transfer your personal data outside of Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o.
Where Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. has a contract with a member of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries, either Party may need to transfer personal data relating to healthcare professionals who have received value support from us for reporting requirements. Your consent form will contain greater detail.
Where Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. is subject directly to reporting requirements on transfers of value to healthcare professionals, Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. will retain your details for reporting in line with the applicable laws.
Where personal data of any nature is transferred outside of Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o., Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. shall take all necessary measures to ensure that it is properly protected under applicable privacy law. Where Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. transfers the personal data outside of the EEA, it will ensure that the recipients are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. This means your personal data will be protected to the same level in that country as it would have been within the EEA.
Any personal data collected for the purpose of drug safety surveillance will be shared within the Ewopharma Group or with third parties such as manufacturers, marketing authorization holders, of the product or health authorities, as required under EU and local Pharmacovigilance (drug safety) legislation.
HOW LONG SHALL WE HOLD
Where personal data is obtained from you on the basis of your consent, your personal data will only be held for that period of time set out in the consent.
Where personal data is obtained and held due to contractual necessity, it will be held only for as long as the term of the contract or other time limit set out in the contract.
Where personal data is obtained for the purpose of drug safety surveillance, reports are kept for a period defined by EU and local Pharmacovigilance (drug safety) legislation, usually for a minimum of 10 years after withdrawal of the product in the last country where the product is marketed.
For all other situations, your personal data shall be held only for as long as necessary in line with applicable law, to resolve disputes, or strict criteria developed in within the Group Data Protection Program. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request a copy of any of your personal data and confirm its accuracy or request it be corrected.
You have the right to request that your personal data be erased from our system. Where your personal data is held on the basis of consent, you can withdraw your consent by emailing the contact person on your consent form.
You have a right to request a restriction of processing or outright object to the processing in certain instances.
All requests will be assessed on a case by case basis.
CONSEQUENCES OF NOT PROVIDING PERSONAL DATA
Ewopharma AG and/or Ewopharma International, s.r.o. shall not request any personal data from you that is not absolutely necessary in its opinion. Therefore, if you refuse, we may not be able to interact with you. This will be dealt with on a case-by- case basis.
VISITORS TO OUR WEBSITE
When someone visits www.revalid.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. Aside from the approximate location (IP address), the information collected by Google Analytics is mostly anonymous traffic data such as browser information, device information and language. We do not collect additional information, such as your age, gender, interests or bank details. The collected information is used to provide an overview of how people are accessing and using our website in order to improve our service and user experience. It is not used for any additional purpose, such as to profile those who access our website.
If you contact us through our website, we will only use this information with the intention of answering the questions/complaints or suggestions sent by you. After the conclusion of your query, your personal data will be destroyed.

We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data using physical and/or electronic security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal data.
Although we have enacted security measures, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you submit via email or over the Internet. We have a Facebook/LinkedIn page relating to some our Products. When you choose to share information with Facebook the information you share will be governed by their privacy policies.
